Cusinart 14 Cup Elite Food Processor

The top of the line, this Cuisinart Elite food processor features a robust 14 cup capacity and 1,000 watt peak motor. Cuisinart has thought of everything with this deluxe food processor; it is basically 3 food processors in one! It comes with 3 work bowls - a 14 cup work bowl, 11 cup work bowl and a 4.5 cup bowl. All work bowls have places to grip and pour spouts. The bowls nest inside each other.

A major improvement over other food processors is that the lid seals with SealTight Advantage patented sealing. This means that once the lid is locked to the top, no juices or liquid spill out of the top or leak down the sides while the food processor is running. The lid locks down easily with a click. The sealed lid also means that you can put more food in the bowls for processing. Fill any work bowl to the top!

The Elite processor includes a blade storage case that locks with a turn of a knob. It houses the large chopping blade, the small chopping blade for the 4.5 cup bowl, a dough blade, stem adapter for the shredding and slicing discs, reversible grating or shredding disc, and the slicing blade that can be adjusted from 1-6mm. Just dial in the thickness you want. The slicing blade can be used for slicing steak, potatoes or anything in between. The shredding disc is reversible; one side is a coarse grate and the other is a finer grate.

The stainless steel die cast housing is handsome and the touch pad controls are easy to clean. The blue light lets you know the machine is on. There are four electronically controlled buttons on the control panel: pulse, on, off and dough. The electrical cord is retractable.

The Cuisinart Elite food processor is a power house that has the ability to harm you if you do not follow the operating instructions. Cuisinart has added a safety lock for the large chopping blade that engages when the blade is pushed down into the bowl. It will stay there even when the bowl is unlocked and tipped over for pouring.
