The Cuisinart Elite 12 cup food processor features a handsome black housing that holds a powerful 1000 watt motor. This black food processor features a large 12 cup work bowl and a smaller 4 cup work bowl that nests inside the large one for smaller chopping tasks. This food processor is an advancement for food processors and sets the bar for others to match.

The lid is more advanced. It features an easy locking system. Just place the lid on the top and press down until you hear a click. The lid is now locked AND sealed with the SealTight Advatage System. Now you can fill the work bowl to the top with food and run the processor with no leakage or seepage around the rim.

The cutting blades, both the small and large one now lock into place. All you need to do is insert the blade and press down to lock it. Once locked, the blade will stay until you pull it out. You can pour and the blade will stay in the bowl. No more pouring with one hand and using the other to hold in the blade!

The black housing is complimented by a electronic touchpad control and blue LED light that lets you know the machine is on. The touchpad is easy to operate and easy to clean. It offers 3 buttons: on, off and pulse.

Other features included with the Cuisinart Elite 12 cup black food processer are a reversible shredder disk (turn it on one side for a thick grate or to the other for a thinner shred); a slicing blade that is adjustable (simply turn the knob and dial in the thickness of the slice from 1-6mm).
