Spode Blue Italian Set of Two 12" Serving Platters
A classical Italian setting is framed by an intricate Oriental border on these two 12" platters in the Spode Blue Italian pattern. People, dogs and sheep wander amid moss-covered ruins; the eye is drawn into the distance and the imagination is engaged. Such fine detail is achieved through a transfer printing process perfected by Josiah Spode in the late 1700's. Each piece is hand-crafted.
