Vietri Chiaroscuro Dinnerware

Chiaroscuro, meaning "light and dark" comes from the Italian word for "twilight". This modern and dramatic Vietri collection is hand crafted in Tuscany, Italy using terra cotta clay. The use of taupe as an accent color with the Chiaroscuro black under a milky smooth glaze is engaging. The Chiaroscuro collection's rustic shapes with modern coloring compliments today's modern hues, but adds the whimsy of contrasting texture. The Vietri Chiaroscuro collection is entirely dishwasher safe. The place setting pieces (dinner plate, dessert plate, charger plate, pasta bowl, cereal bowl, mug and condiment bowl) are also microwave safe. Consider mixing the Vietri Cappuccino dinnerware with Chiaroscuro as shown in the image on the left.

Microwave and dishwasher safe. Use the lowest heat setting on your dishwasher for washing and drying and use liquid detergent. Washing and drying on the lowest heat setting will slow the pace of crazing. Crazing is natural with pottery and will not affect function or safety of the dinnerware.
