Viking cookware bells and whistles:
Viking cooking vessels and handles are unique only to Viking. The handles are vented which allows them to stay cool during cooking and are double riveted. All pots and pans use multi-ply construction of stainless steel and aluminum. The multi-ply construction is seven layers and extends throughout the cooking vessel. The larger and deeper pots utilize five ply multi-ply construction, which is optimum for these type pots. All pans have 18/10 stainless steel for the cooking surface and exterior, which creates a ferrous surface that can be used on any cooking surface-- including induction. (Viking cookware may be used on gas, electric, halogen, ceramic, and induction ranges and all pots and pans are oven and dishwasher safe.) Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
