A 2 cup capacity lion's head soup tureen made by renown porcelain maker Pillivuyt. Pillivuyt porcelain lions head tureens are made by hand and will not have a thumb indention on the inside of the tureen due to the manufacturing process. The result is a perfectly smooth inside wall. Oven, broiler, microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. The dense porcelain and glaze are virtually non-porous and clean up easily. Made in France.
