Dunoon English Bone China MugsShop our collection of English-made Dunoon fine bona china mugs, tea cup and saucer sets and teapots that now are part of our famous-maker tea and coffee service collection at Distinctive Decor. Made-in-England Dunoon Ceramics has been producing its world-famous teacups, mugs and teapots in Staffordshire England, for more than 40 years. Dunoon's craftsmen use slip casting instead of conventional 'jollying' machine-made techniques. This is to ensure a finer, lighter-weight mug.
To qualify as bone china, each cup or teapot is made with a combination of fine clay and bone ash. Only liquid clay is used by Dunoon for its fine bone china mugs. Once the mugs are set in molds, they are finished by hand. All designs and glazes are applied by hand, too, making each of Dunoon's mugs, teacups and saucers and teapot sets truly unique. We have gorgeous tea cup and saucer sets by Dunoon with hand-painted designs including strawberries, flowers, cats and guitars. While sturdier than other bone china brands, please hand wash.
Browse our collection of Made-in-England Dunoon fine bone china teapots in full-size 40.6-ounce teapot styles and tea-for-one-sets. Each of the small teapots with one cup has a 16.9-ounce teapot with an 8.45-ounce teacup that fits over the pot. It's a lovely way to enjoy a cup of tea by the fireplace with a good book or on your patio enjoying the morning sun. Dunoon's mugs for tea, coffee and other hot drinks are available with floral, animal, holiday, British royalty, educational and sports designs.
