The entire Cantaria Collection is handmade and hand painted in Portugal from a fine, thin, stoneware base, that makes this stoneware lighter than other stoneware. The large, oval, ivory platter from the Skyros Cantaria Dinnerware Collection by Skyros Designs is a functional piece as well as being intriguing. This large, oval platter is chip resistant, as well as being durable and functional. The irregularity comes from the fact that each piece is handmade and hand painted in Portugal.
